As a prerequisite , Network operators must upgrade the switches supporting ONIE in their Data center Fabric to the SONiC Network operating system . The following upgrade path will be generally followed to upgrade from any non-SONiC to SONiC Network operating system before NetOps teams can technically proceed with configuration migration .
